How do we perform the impact analysis on the schedule?
Current schedule evaluation (retrospective analysis)
We started with a thorough analysis of the base schedule and the current progress of the work. We evaluated the contracted schedule and the documentation produced throughout the work to identify discrepancies and quantify the delays already occurred, simulating with reasonable degree of certainty, how this delay can affect the date of completion of the work.
Impact Simulation and Aunt
Then we performed the impact analysis of time, which is a prospective analysis. We inserted
the base events into the base schedule (such as fragnets - fragments of activity), recalculating planning to simulate the effects of these events within the final period. Aunt allows you to accurately evaluate the effects of events not provided for in the schedule and quantify and justify the deadline extensions.
Analysis of results and recommendations
We compared the impacted schedule with the base schedule to justify the variation within the completion period and identify how the critical path was affected. This comparison shows how many days of delay are attributable to each event and each part involved.
